Shuttle XPCs and Shuttle XP17 TFTs are covered by a manufacturer's warranty of 2 years valid as of date of purchase

This service is available for most of the European countries and includes:

• Technical support hotline. Please dial the number of your country as shown in the table below.
• For any occurring problems that cannot be solved by phone, the defect product will be picked up on-site and returned free of charge after successful repair (Pick-up, Repair and Return Service).

For further details, please refer to your warranty documents enclosed to your Shuttle XPC or Shuttle XP17 TFT. Note: If your country should not be listed in the table below, warranty handling is to be done via your respective dealer where the Shuttle XPC or Shuttle XP17 TFT has been purchased.

Important Update for G5 8300M after recovering your system

If your Shuttle XPC System G5 8300M has been shipped with Driver DVD v1.0 and you already have recovered your system with the Recovery CD to the reset it to manufacturer settings, please run this registry patch: . After successful updating please verify that your power management and the device settings of the VFD (named "HID-complient consumer control device" in the device manager) are set up like shown in these screenshots:

To set up this parameter please open the control panel, go to tab "Advanced" in the "Power Options" menu and deactivate the option "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby".

Now your Shuttle XPC System G5 8300M can be waken up from the standby mode S3 (save-to-RAM) and also set the standby with the remote control (Windows button).

To finish the installation please shut down the system, remove the power cable, wait 30 seconds, connect the power cable and start the system.
